Family Orthodontics at BHO
We are here to take care of everyone in the family! Beginning with the youngest, we specialize in Phase I or interceptive orthodontics. Early orthodontic treatment aims to guide how a child’s jaw bones grow while they still have their primary (baby) teeth in order to prevent more severe problems from developing later in life. Most children should see an orthodontist by the time they turn 7, but if you have concerns or a family history of orthodontic needs, we have seen children as young as 5 start treatment planning.
Once you have all of your permanent teeth, you enter Phase II orthodontics. During Phase II treatment, we can help with many misalignments, including:
